Saturday 2:00 Room 2

Presenter: Susan Nystoriak

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work with a literary agent? In a lighthearted way, this presentation will focus on how to make your query letter stand out in the agent’s slush pile, managing author/agent expectations, the revisions process, and what happens after landing a publishing contract.

Susan Nystoriak born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State, Susan Nystoriak attended Potsdam College, earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. A lifelong learner of both music and the written word, Susan has spent the majority of her life straddling both realms. As an agent with Golden Wheat Literary, her main focus is on Adult Fiction.

Susan’s #MSWL: Susan is seeking authors who write for the Adult readership. RomCom’s, Women’s Fiction, and Mystery/Crime are high on her list! She is drawn to lighter themes, and humor is a plus. She represents authors who word-weave wonderful tales, and whose characters pursue their passions. Susan is not seeking children’s PB, MG, or YA at this time. Fantasy and Paranormal also fall outside of her wish list.
