Are you a young writer with a story to tell? Are you in a publishing-related field and willing to share your expertise with young writers?
Pierce Press and members of the IPNE Board are designing a mentoring program for emerging young writers (ages 18-30) who are currently under-represented in the publishing field. This initiative is intended as a free online service to empower young writers to publish their own books, and perhaps to become publishers in their own right.
The initiative will focus on the tools of publishing - so actually how to get a book an ISBN number and how to get it edited, designed, printed or converted to an e-book, marketed, and distributed. We won't coach young authors on how to write, but we will guide them on the nuts and bolts of book production and marketing!
