WHAT IS PMA-U?

PMA, the Independent Book Publishers Association’s annual Publishing University is the largest education event for independent book publishers and their staff. A full weekend of classes, seminars and workshops taught by working professionals in the publishing field, PMA-U is an unequalled learning opportunity for all new or growing publishers.

PMA-U SCHOLARSHIP

PMA awards a PMA-U scholarship to one member of each Affiliate group. The scholarship includes free registration to attend the Publishing University, plus a $500 stipend to help pay for travel expenses.

Applicants must:

• be a member of an Affiliate group as well as PMA.
• be a publisher, preferably in the early stages of developing his/her company.
• not be a past scholarship recipient.

To apply, fill out an application and submit it to the IPNE Board. We will post announcements on the website and the mailing lists when application forms for the 2009 PMA-U are available to download from this website.
