Last Chance to Display and Sell Your Books at "Bookstock" July 30
A few prime display slots for individual titles still available.
Saturday, July 30, is the date for Woodstock, Vermont’s third annual “Bookstock: the Green Mountain Festival of Words.” Woodstock has a large summer population and is a destination town for many vacationers, so a fairly good-sized crowd is likely to show up. Unlike many of our shows that are aimed primarily at bookstores and publishing professionals, the Bookstock attendees are simply members of the public who are interested in books.
The festival will run all weekend at various venues around town, but the books exhibit will be held on Saturday only, from 10 AM to 5 PM, under a large tent on the village green. Bookstock will include appearances by about 20 authors (including the Pulitzer Prize winning Tom Powers, who will give the keynote address), two second-hand book sales, outdoor music performances, as well as exhibit tables for publishers and others involved in books and bookselling. Last year, the IPNE tables had a lot of traffic and several members successfully sold some books. This year, IPNE will have three tables.
Note: Participants must fill out a short registration form. Click here to download the form. You may mail a check with the form, or pay by credit-card using the options on the left of this page.

Here’s how IPNE friends can participate:
IPNE MEMBERS:Option 1. You can pay $75 and have a two-foot wide strip on a table to display and sell your books, preferably at something less than full retail price. You should plan to be at the show if you choose this option
Option 2. You can pay $25 per book to display your books and offer them for sale. Members in attendance will collect money from any books sold and send you the proceeds if you are not there yourself. We will also contact local bookstores and ask them to stock your books. So please send us ordering information. If you do not attend, you may send your books in advance. Books, ordering information, and fees should be sent to Jack Crowl of Thistle Hill Publications, who is coordinating the show for IPNE. At the end of the show, Jack will forward to you the proceeds of any sales, and all remaining books will be donated to a local charitable organization.
Non-IPNE members may also participate, at a cost of $100 for Option #1 or $50 for Option #2. Whichever option you choose, please complete the form below and send it with your payment to Thistle Hill Publications, PO Box 307, North Pomfret VT 05053-0307. We look forward to seeing you in Woodstock on July 30.
