His company Encircle Publications specializes in complete book production, and is home to The Aurorean poetry journal. Eddie works with publishers and independent authors, helping them with all their design needs and all facets of bringing a book to life. Eddie and his wife Cynthia, a poet and editor, live in Maine. Rona Gofstein, Vice-PresidentIPNE Project Teams: EventsRona Gofstein has been involved in the publishing world for over 20 years, the last nine as a published author, and the last three as the co-founder, with Mellisa Sherlin, of the Writers Business School. She is currently working on her sixth novel, the first of a three book series that will be released in 2017 and is on the board of Broad Universe. When she is not writing she is homeschooling her sons, trying unsuccessfully to keep up with laundry, and laughing as much as possible. RochesterIPNE Project Teams: Mentoring In his role leading IPNE's Mentoring & Internship program, Jack B. Rochester helps IPNE members find publishing resources and opportunities to learn the business firsthand. He earned his Master's degree in comparative literature from California State University at Sonoma, where he sponsored the Joshua Tree Interactive Working Writer’s Scholarship for ten years. He has taught writing and publishing workshops and spoken at writing conferences coast to coast. Jack has worked in publishing his entire career as an editor, publisher and writer. As an editor, he acquired and published over 70 business text and trade books. He wrote over a dozen works of business and technology nonfiction, including the national bestseller The Naked Computer (William Morrow, 1983, reviewed in The New York Times), before launching yet another career as a novelist. His second novel, Madrone (Wheatmark, 2015), was published in 2014, and won the 2016 award for Best Literary Fiction from the Independent Publishers of New England. Joanne Lannin is a freelance writer and a writing instructor. She has been honored by the New England Women's Press Association and the Maine Press Association for her sportswriting. She wrote for the Maine Sunday Telegram in Portland for 22 years. Her latest book won a silver medal in the ForeWord Reviews INDIEFAB awards competition in 2015. She writes a blog about women’s basketball at FindingAWayToPlay.com. Joanne also teaches journalism and writing at the high school and college levels. She is involved in coaching and playing basketball and is actively soliciting sports manuscripts for her next publishing project. Adopt Joanne! Paul Parisi

Nelson Suit is the managing editor at Inkspokes Media LLC, a publisher of children's books and imaginative resources for kids. He and his wife Seri manage inkspokes.com, a e-journal that features illustrators, indie authors, small presses and other publishing creatives creating in the world of independent children's publishing.Under its Trillo Books imprint, Inkspokes is the publisher of Nelson's middle grade children's book series, the Tilley Pond Mouse books. The books are about a little mouse who, with his companions, travels into the wilds beyond his village of Tilley Pond. There's adventure, friendship and bits of courage mixed in but, more, the books attempt to spark imagination and kindness. Outside of writing and publishing, Nelson enjoys hiking, drawing and making things. He coaches soccer. He loves dogs though he has never raised one. On days he is not writing or drawing or editing or hiking or making things, he practices law. Nelson studied history and literature at Yale University and is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
